| Notes: | Subtitle: The Chronicles of Kazam, Book 1 Jennifer Strange, 15-years-old, is an agent for magicians. She finds out that she's been appointed to the lofty position of Dragonslayer, which is significant because the prophets have foreseen the death of the last dragon in a week. Jennifer doesn't want to kill it. Besides, people are lining up to grab the dragon's land for themselves and kings are preparing to go to war for it. But the fates decree, and the dragon tells Jennifer to kill it. When she does, two new dragons appear and all goes on as before except that the level of magic in the kingdom has increased. |
