Review - A Ticket for a Seamstitch
Not much to it, but mildly amusing. The whole joke is the way "Author" Wiggens writes—with bad grammar and run-on sentences.

Notes: | Part of the Henry Wiggens' series. Wiggens is trying to break the record for most consecutive wins. He gets a letter from a young woman who says she's a huge fan and plans to travel across the country to meet him and watch the game on July 4. Wiggens is married, so he gets his roommate Piney Woods interested in the girl. Piney gets all excited, but when the girl shows up, she's pretty average. Piney is disappointed and disappears. Wiggens is nice to her and takes her out for supper. As a result, he's not on his best game the next day and loses his streak one game short of the record. But by this time he likes the girl and threatens Piney that he better take her out or Wiggens will retaliate. |
