Notes:After a very brief courting, the young and lovely Helen Eskdale marries wealthy and dashing Lord Teviot. Being young, she's still attached to her mother, sisters, and friends. Being conceited, he wants all her attention. The couple bicker and separate. Meanwhile. other minor characters and squabbling and falling in love. In the end, Teviot gets sick and almost dies. Helen nurses him back to health and they fall in love and happiness.

Review - Semi-Attached Couple, The

Billed as being a lot like Jane Austen. True in the sense that both authors mock upper-class culture, but otherwise a reach. Eden's characters are too many and too shallow to get to know or care about.
