Notes:Somebody is rustling cattle from the Hat ranch. Foreman Benbow is looked at by the other ranchers as the one best fit to handle it. What Benbow doesn't know is that his best friend, Rand, is working with the rustlers. When the showdown occurs, Rand is exposed, and Benbow's posse hangs him along with the others. Benbow plans to leave town, but Connie, the owner of Hat ranch after her father dies, and the former fiancee of Rand, convinces Benbow to stay—with her.

Review - Deep West

Too many characters. And the first chapter was so involved with so many of them that I had very little idea of what was happening. But it got interesting enough to finish, and even to root for Benbow and Connie.
