Reviews for The Revenanat
Review - Revenanat, The
Based on a true story. Well written. The ending was flat and unresolved, but life is like that sometimes.

| Notes: | Hugh Glass is the guide/hunter for a fur company. One day he's horribly mauled by a grizzly. The captain offers $70 to two men who will stay with Glass until he dies. Fitzgerald and Coulter volunteer. Coulter tries to help Glass, feeding him and tending his wounds. But Fitzgerald decides to leave. He takes all Glass's belongings and convinces Coulter to go with him. Glass determines to live and get his revenge. He crawls a couple miles a day until finally he can walk. He almost starves. Indians find him and patch him up and take him to a fort. Glass sets out to track down the fur company. He beats up Coulter but allows him to live. He finally tracks down Fitzgerald, who has been forced to join the army. A rigid captain gives him back his belongings, but won't let him kill Fitzpatrick. |
