Review - Birding Without Borders
Well-written, interesting, but too exhausting to be inspiring. The author is obviously liberal, but he wasn't annoying about it.

| Notes: | Subtitle: An Obsession, a Quest, and the Biggest Year in the World The author spent the entire year of 2015 traveling to every continent to set the record for most birds seen in a year. The old record was 4,431. He saw 6,042. (And his record was broken in 2016.) The book just hits the highlights—it's not country-by-country or bird-by-bird. |
