Review - It's All Relative

For starters, the book contained a magazine-article-amount of information stretched and repeated to fill a book. The early chapters were fairly interesting, on the basics of genealogy, but it soon descended into political smears of Republicans, evolutionary theory, and bragging about how gloriously liberal his ancestors have always been. Right. Like a typical liberal, Jacobs is willing to accept anyone—as long as they agree with him. but amusingly, he spends half his time talking about how special his family is, and half talking about how we're all one big family. I've enjoyed some of his other stuff, but this was dull and silly. And he didn't come close to breaking the record.
