Review - Headhunters on My Doorstep

Not nearly as funny and enjoyable as his earlier books. Perhaps his descent into and recovery from alcoholism destroyed his sense of humor. The chapters on alcoholism were informative but not really what I was looking for when I chose this book. The info on Stevenson seemed choppy. Only when Troost was talking about the islands and the people was the book really interesting.
