Review - Illustrated Treasury of Children's Literature, The

This book was around when I was a kid and I know I looked at it and read some of it. I don't remember whether I ever read it cover to cover. It offers a good variety of classic children's literature, although the excerpts from longer works often begin and end without context and couldn't be very interesting to anyone unfamiliar with the longer work.
