Notes:Four men, for various reasons, form a terrorist group in South Florida. Their leader, Skip, is a reporter for a Miami newspaper. Their goal is to get all the White to leave so the land can return to the way it used to be. To accomplish their goal, they kidnap and kill several tourists and blow up some bombs. Brian Keyes, private detective, knows Skip and figures out that he's involved in the murders. He also figures out that Skip is going to target Kara, the Orange Bowl queen. He becomes her bodyguard and falls in love. At the game, Skip and his cronies manage to grab Kara and take her to an island that is scheduled to be dynamited for development the next morning. Brian figures it out and gets there in time to save Kara. Skip stays on the island and gets blown up.

Review - Tourist Season

Reads like a comedy but isn't funny, except, I guess, in a black comedy way. I liked the character of Brian, and once I stopped looking for the funny parts, he was somebody to root for.
