| Notes: | Keely is finishing out her junior year of high school in Aberdeen when the flood hits. Many homes in town are damaged or destroyed, and the government uses the event to condemn the town and approve a new dam that will create a lake where the two used to be. Keely's dad organizes the resistance, but events move inevitably. Meanwhile, Keely dates here dream guy—and then realizes she likes Levi, the sheriff's son instead. She has a fight with her best friend Morgan. And she finds out her dad is just trying to blackmail the government for more money. When things look bleekest and the town is gone, Keely connects with Levi, her dad determines to do the right thing, and she finds a note from Morgan that promises a future for their friendship. |
