Reviews for Conagher
Review - Conagher
A short, quick read with likeable characters. I enjoyed it even though I knew what was going to happen simply from the name of the book.

| Notes: | Evie Teale's husband rides off to buy cattle, leaving her with her young stepson and stepdaughter in Apache territory. The husband never returns. Not far away, Conagher works on a cattle ranch. When he finds out some of his fellow hands are working with rustlers, he decides to do something about it. In a series of fights, he kills or drives off the bad guys. He decides he's restless and ends up at Evie's house, where he's stopped a few times. He's too shy to ask to stay, so she does the asking. |
