Notes:Hal Spacejock, incompetent and broke, takes on a job to deliver robot parts. A debt collector with a homicidal assistant is on his tail. He lone ally is an antiquated robot named Clunk who repeatedly bails Hal out of trouble caused my circumstances, opponents, and his own incompetence.

Review - A Robot Named Clunk

I only made it about halfway through, and even that is only because I was listening to it while driving/walking and didn't have options. There's no character development or reason to care what happens. It's just a continuous string of similar events—something begins to go wrong, Clunk warns Hal about it, Hal claims to have it under control, it goes wrong, Hal fails to fix it, Clunk fixes it. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. It is very much a rip-off of Han Solo, but less likeable, and with a robot instead of a hairy beast.
