I'm sure they were funny to soldiers who had to deal with situations like Sad Sack did, but after a short while, they all seemed like the same joke to me.

| Notes: | Cartoons from Yank magazine in WWII about a private who is always getting the short end of the deal, doing the work while others get the credit, working hard only to end up where he started, or simply exhausted and unable to enjoy life. The cartoons had very few words. |
