Review - Johnny Got His Gun

The story of the soldier and how he deals with his condition was interesting. The anti-war theme and the philosophy that any life is better than death were annoying. The communist cry for an uprising of the people at the end of the book would have been infuriating if it wasn't for the fact that it was being "thought" by a character powerless to do anything.
