Review - Joseph Andrews

Goofy, but interesting at times. The theme is vanity and how far some people will go to preserve it. Joseph and Fanny are used by everybody until it is discovered that they come from good families, whereupon everyone loves them and all is well. Pamela has changed personalities since her own book and is now very stuck-up. It's a pretty rough book, but it does have some charms — and a lot of dry spells.
