Notes:An alien in the form of a two-headed turtle lands on a rooftop in NYC to study cats, which it believes is the dominant species on earth. Ollie has a cat named Pirate, which has gone missing. The cat was captured by Mrs. Potter, an old lady who doesn't like cats eating the birds at her feeder. All this intertwined with the stories of various other characters in the neighborhood. In the end, Ollie gets his cat back and finds a girlfriend. Others have their lives made better in one way or another thanks to the visit. Mrs. Potter is carried off by the aliens and stuck on a planet where giant cats are the dominant species.

Review - Intergalactic Interloper, The

Not terrible, but shallow with little character development and no reason to remember it for more than a few hours. And, of course, the person who lets a cat run around outdoors is the real villain.
