Review - Dorothy Parker: Complete Stories

All my life I've heard how clever and funny Dorothy Parker was. Turns out she was apparently clever about one thing — imitating those annoying people who like to hear themselves talk but don't have anything to say. It felt like I was reading the same story over and over — clueless people who don't understand how clueless they are. The stories I read were written in the 1920s. Perhaps her later stories are better, but I couldn't bring myself to check. Or care.
