Notes:Subtitle: The Violent Assault that Changed a Presidency

Basically a biography of Reagan with tangents about other political events that happened during his career. (There are maps of Chappaquiddick Island and the Falkland Islands, for example.) The attempted assassination by John Hinckley, a supposed attempt to get actress Jodie Foster to love him, is covered, but it's only a small part of the book. Hinckley's life is also covered in installments throughout the book.

Review - Killing Reagan

I'm not quite sure what this book was supposed to be about. It certainly wasn't the book I expected. O'Reilly gave Reagan credit for stopping the U.S.S.R., but otherwise he was dismissive and insulting and skipped over many of Reagan's accomplishments and great speeches. It seemed more like a gossip column than a serious book. I wonder if O'Reilly feuded with Ron or Nancy and wrote this book to get back at them.

As for the title, since Reagan died, O'Reilly claims that evidence has been found that links invasive surgery/trauma with loss of memory and even Alzheimer's and that Reagan was suffering from it during most of his presidency.

On top of all that, it was actually boring at times.
