| Notes: | Accounts of birds that became extinct between 1600 and, I guess, about 1920 — since he includes Ivory-billed Woodpecker, Bachman's Warbler, and Eskimo Curlew just on a list of endangered birds. He writes about the records that exist, a bit about the natural history (when known), and about last sightings. |
