Notes:Holly Inglehart wakes up from a strange dream in the middle of the night, discovers that all the clocks in the house have stopped at 3:00, and then finds her nasty aunt stabbed to death. She faints and is discovered by her twin brother Glen. Holly's fiance is band leader Dick, and Dick's manager is Jake Justus. With socialite Helene (Holly's neighbor) and lawyer John Malone, Jake sets out to find the murderer. The police think it's Holly. But the three detectives figure out the murderer is Glen. Turns out he's not Holly's twin, who died and was replaced by Glen, the housekeeper's baby. The murdered aunt discovered this and was about to write Glen out of her will. Glen killed her and framed Holly, but in a way that made it almost certain she could get off with a plea of insanity. Jake and Helene fall in love.

Review - Eight Faces at Three

Typical mystery with false leads and suspicious characters that seem to be, but aren't, the guilty party. There's a little more character development in this one, especially with Jake and Helene, but really, who cares who killed who?
