The long first chapter on electrocuting things was dull and I almost quit reading. The chapter on nuclear tests was more interesting and informative. Other chapters covered psychological tests where the subjects were fooled in one way or another, experimenting with apes and monkeys to test for human characteristics, and self-harm in the interest of science.
