Review - Cubs by the Numbers

Apart from some mildly amusing reminders of Cubs I'd forgotten about, it was fairly dull — especially after I got past the more famous Cubs and their numbers. Added to the meh is that fact that it was 16 years out-of-date and the authors (there were actually three) kept trying to predict that the Cubs who wore particular numbers when the book was published would finally be the one that made the number famous — like Carlos Marmol and Ryan Dempster.
