Goldberg is so famous that his name is listed in the dictionary as an adjective — accomplishing by complex means what appears simple. The problem I had was that after two of three of his invention comic strips, they just all felt the same. And I didn't think they were all that interesting to begin with. Most of his other stuff is likewise just not funny. It amazes me that this guy actually made a lot of money and became very famous for this nonsense. I mean, even Mike and Ike candy is named after one of his dumb cartoons!
