Occasionally the caption for a photo actually explained something interesting, but mostly they were just offered with information that didn't really explain anything. There was a WAAC school in Conway during WWII, and several photos show a young woman receiving the medals earned by her husband, who was just shot down. Then, without further explanation, there's a line that says the woman herself died in 1945 when her plane crashed in New Guinea. If you're going to include part of the story, why not complete it. A map showing where the photos were taken would have been nice. In short, it was the laziest possible way to display the photos and information.
