Review - Saving Private Ryan

I can’t begin to imagine what it would be like to be in combat, but this movie comes closer to helping me realize it than any other movie or book has ever done. The story of eight men risking their lives to save one has the capacity to take me beyond the plot of the movie and make me think about what the soldiers in that war and other wars sacrifice for this country. For this reason, I think it is an important movie, in spite of the violence and language.
