Description:In 1930s Chicago, Redford is a small-time con artist who accidently knocks over the runner for a major crime boss (Robert Shaw). The boss kills his partner, and Redford vows revenge. He partners with Newman, an old-time conman and they plan a fix for half a million. Meanwhile, Redford is dodging a cop on the take whom he gave counterfeit money to and the boss's contract killer. They set up a fake horse race parlor and con the boss into putting down his own money. They then fake the deaths of Redford and Newman so the boss doesn't know he's been taken.

Review - Sting, The

It's hard to say much about this movie without ruining it for those who haven't seen it yet. I love the suspense, I love the sets, I love the characters. Just a flat-out great movie.
