| Description: | Dan (Steve Carell) is a widower with three daughters. While at the annual family reunion, he meets Marie (Juliette Binoche) in a bookstore and they immediately hit it off. Things get complicated when Dan discovers that Marie is the new girlfriend of his kid brother, Mitch. Dan and Marie try to hide their feelings from the family, but Dan keeps getting himself into one awkward situation after another. His mother sets him up with Ruthie (Emily Blunt), but he still likes Marie. She finally can't take it anymore and leaves — to the nearest bowling alley where she calls Dan to come join her. The begin kissing just as the whole family shows up. It's all very uncomfortable for a while, but in the end, Dan and his daughters go find Marie. |
