| Description: | The Frake family goes to the Iowa state fair where daughter Margaret (Jean Crain) meets and falls in love with reporter Pat Gilbert (Dana Andrews) while son Wayne (Dick Haymes) meets singer Emily Edwards (Vivian Blaine). It turns out that Emily is married, so Wayne heads back to the farm and takes up with his old girl. Pat gets a job with a Chicago newspaper and marries Margaret. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad enter pickles and a pig and win blue ribbons. |
