I haven't seen this in years. The first hour is very slow. Marlon Brando is an idiot. Gene Hackman, as Lex Luthor, is a clown. The entire movie is way too camp to be good. There are some good moments wtih Lois and Clark, but not many. Christopher Reeve is rather a sissy Superman in my opinion.

The movie starts with Kal-El being sent off Krypton. He lands in Kansas. He grows up and Jonathan Kent dies. He gets trained by Jor-el, then he heads to Metropolis to instantly fall in love with Lois and save her from peril. Then Lex explodes a bomb in the San Andreas Fault to dump California into the ocean and make his desert land coastland. Clark arrives too late to save Lois, so he reverses time by making the world spin backwards. (Would that work?) All pretty silly. And this was the best of the four.
