Review - Ghost and the Darkness, The

I caught the last three-quarters of this on TV several years ago and thought it looked really good. This time I watched the whole thing and I thought it was rather silly. Michael Douglas's character was totally fictional and totally a cartoon. Pointless and annoying. It would have been much better if they'd stuck to the truth, although we don't even know what that is because Patterson's book is generally considered to have been dramatized. There were two lions, they ate at least a few people, Patterson shot them.
