Review - Twelve O'Clock High
One of the first American bomber units in England is showing a poor record. The crews are suffering fatigue and wanting to quit, but it's necessary to keep them in the air until more units can be trained, equipped and brought to the front. General Frank Savage (Gregory Peck) is sent to command. He takes a hard line with the men and is soon dealing with the fact that all his pilots are requesting transfers. He delays their request and soon convinces them that they're fighting for something worthwhile. He keeps pushing until he totally wears himself out, but by that time, he's forged a strong group.
