| Description: | Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) and his girlfriend Lola (Salma Hayek) steal a famous diamond that was in the care of FBI agent Stan Lloyd (Woody Harrelson). The thieves retire on a Caribbean island. Stan follows, supposedly to keep Max from stealing another diamond that's on display on a visiting cruise ship. Lola wants Max to stop while he's ahead, but Max is driven to get the gem. Also after the diamond is local gang leader Henri (Don Cheadle). Stan teams up with local cop, Sophie (Naomie Harris). Max sets up Henri's gang as a distraction and to take the fall while he steals the jewel. Lola gets mad at Max and threatens to leave. Stan reveals that he was playing Max all along and stole the jewel from Max's hiding place. Max realizes he just wants Lola, and they make up ... but decide to do one more job and steal the diamond from Stan. |
