Description:Virginia Baker (Catherine Zeta-Jones) works as an investigator for an insurance company, but she's also a thief. When a painting is stolen, she convinces her boss to let her set a trap for Robert MacDougal (Sean Connery). They work together to steal a gold mask, and then to rob a bank in Thailand, and soon begin to fall for each other. In the end, it turns out they were both working the angles, Robert for the FBI. He pretends to give up Virginia, and "most" of the money they stole, but then manages to let her get away. She returns to him in the end.

Review - Entrapment

There was a 39-year age difference between Connery and Zeta-Jones, so the romance didn't really work. Connery acted like an old man and there was no understandable reason why Virginia would fall for him. The robbery of the bank was a bit ridiculous too, with the pair of them dangling from Christmas lights 80 stories above the ground.
