Review - Firewall

Why I saw it: I was home sick with stomach flu and didn’t want to have to think.

Brief Synopsis: Jack Stanfield is security chief of a bank. A gang of thugs, led by Bill Cox, kidnaps his family and forces him to transfer $100,000 to an account. After he does, Cox takes off with Jack’s family and frames Jack for the murder of his coworker. With the help of his secretary, Jack tracks down the bad guys with the help of the gps on his dog’s collar. (For some bizarre reason, the bad guys kidnapped the dog too.) There’s a big fight and Jack wins.

What I liked about it: Suspenseful.

What I didn’t like about it: Forgettable. And I still can’t figure out why the bad guys kidnapped the dog.

Bottom line: I gave it a 7, not because it was particularly good, but because it helped me pass two hours of sick time.
