Reviews for Hitch
Review - Hitch
Hitch helps out guys who have trouble with women. He gives them advice and shows them how to get to the third date and the first kiss. After that, they’re on they’re own. His advice is good — listen, don’t show off, find out what they like. He isn’t interested in helping guys who are just out for sex. His main client is Albert, a fat CPA who has set his sights high — on Allegra Cole the rich heiress who is the most desired bachelorette in town. Hitch shows Albert how to get himself noticed, then helps him learn to act with class.
Meanwhile, Hitch has himself met Sara, who has been hurt by men and puts up walls. She works as a reporter for a tabloid paper. Hitch tries the tricks that work for his clients, and they work with Sara, even though everything goes wrong. The two fall in love — until Sara finds out what Hitch does. She’s offended and responds by writing an piece in her tabloid exposing Hitch and how Albert got Sara.
Hitch goes to see Allegra and convinces her that what she loves in Albert is really Albert. Hitch just showed him how to get noticed. Allegra and Albert end up getting married. Hitch has a harder time with Sara. He wants her back, but he’s hurt by what she did. But in the end, of course, they end up together.
It was entertaining and amusing in parts. I didn’t like Sara or care whether she and Hitch ended up together. Both Sally and I were much more interested in the relationship between Albert and Allegra.
