Certainly not intellectual, but the actors were obviously having fun and so the movie is amusing to watch.

| Description: | Four Miami police officers, Ernie (Dom DeLuise), Louise (Suzanne Pleshette), Doug (Jerry Reed), and Ramon (Luis Avalos), fed up with seeing the people they arrest back on the street, take over a fencing operation and tape the people who come in to see stuff. When they have evidence on all the local crooks, the throw a party. The mob shows up to shut them down and the thieves help the cops fight the gangsters. Then the police show up and arrest everyone. |
