The family celebrated Beth’s 20th birthday this day. She and I went to Blockbuster and she picked this movie to watch. It was rather silly, but had some mildly amusing parts.

Ashley works for a marketing firm and had good luck everywhere she goes. Jake is trying to get McFly, a band he discovered, a recording contract. The two meet at a party and kiss. Their luck changes. Ashley gets fired and ends up in jail. Jake saves the life of Damon Phillips, top producer, and McFly becomes a big hit. Jake sees Ashley suffering and helps her. They fall in love. Ashley realizes what happened and kisses Jake just before McFly’s big coming out concert. Things go wrong, but Ashley shows up in time and kisses him. They both kiss Jake’s young cousin and give her the good luck and walk off together.
