A Los Angeles weatherman breaks up with his stuffy girlfriend and falls in love with an English journalist. She's in the process of deciding whether to get back together with her ex-husband, so the weatherman has a fling with a young woman he meets at a clothing store. In the end, however, he gets together with his love with the aid of a magic highway sign.

Stupid story. It was only even mildly amusing when it was making fun of the eccentricities of L.A. living.
