Review - Man of the House
A Texas Ranger, Roland Sharp is trying to convict a gangster. When one of the gangster’s henchmen, a corrupt FBI agent, kills a man, five University of Texas cheerleaders witness the murder. The Ranger moves into their dorm house and protects them until the trial. At first, they bristle at his strict rules, including no cell phones and proper clothes. But after a while, they warm up to him and give him advice on entertaining Molly, a Lit teacher at the university, and on getting reconnected with his daughter. When the FBI agent kidnaps the daughter, the cheerleaders follow and help the daughter escape. At the end of movie, Sharp marries Molly with the cheerleaders as bridesmaids.
Clichéd and shallow but funny and enjoyable throughout.
