Sometimes funny, occasionally endearing, but also crude in places. It was easy to root for James, the fat guy, while totally disagreeing with some of his decisions. The ending, while a bit obscure, was encouraging — he was acting in a very small role (but acting) and the only worthwhile woman he'd met was in the audience.
