Description:The movie starts off pretty good, with Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) trying to keep Russian Col. Dr. Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett)from getting her hands on a crystal skull that has special powers. Indiana is joined by Mutt Williams (Shia LeBeouf) who turns out to be his son by Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen). I won't bother to go into all the confusion of details. The skull, it develops, belongs to some extra-dimensional being that landed in Peru. In the end, Indiana and Marion are together and nobody gets the skull.

The first half gets an 8, the second half a 5. Way, way too much computer animation and things get way, way too silly — a sword fight on moving jeeps, boats going over huge waterfalls, an army of giant ants that drag people into their holes and the crystal creature who takes off in a spaceship. Just dumb.
