Reviews for Hancock
Review - Hancock
Considerably cruder than it needs to be, but the story itself is very interesting. I never saw some of the plot twists coming. My wife and I saw it at Barrington 30.

| Description: | Hancock (Will Smith) has super-powers — and some self-esteem issues. He occasionally stops drinking long enough to thwart a crime but he usually causes more damage than the villains. Ray (Jason Bateman), a PR expert takes him on as a challenge, and Hancock starts to get his act together. But then he finds out he's got something in common with Mary (Charlize Theron), the expert's wife — she has super-powers too. In fact, she and Hancock have been sorta married for the past couple thousand years, but he doesn't remember her because he has amnesia. Although the two are drawn to each other, proximity drains them of their powers. They have to deal with this in the middle of an attack by a gang of criminals out for revenge. Both almost die, but Hancock manages to get far enough away for them both to recover. He goes on to be hero and Mary goes back to Ray. |
