Violent and funny. Dreyfuss plays his character like he's never serious, but his chemistry with Stowe is pretty good.

| Description: | Two cops, Chris Lecce (Richard Dreyfuss) and Bill Reimers (Emilio Estevez) are assigned stakeout duties at the home of Maria McGuire (Madeleine Stowe), the ex-girlfriend of an escaped bank robber. Chris falls for Maria and soon begins having an affair with her, which complicates his job. He tells her who he really is, and she wants no part of her. Then the bank robber shows up and takes them both captive. There's a shoot-out and Chris is about to be shot when Maria intervenes and saves his life. The bad guys are caught and all live happily ever after. |
