Where to start? There’s a war going on. Anakin and Obi-Wan board an enemy ship to rescue Chancellor Palpatine. They are confronted by Count Dooku, and Anakin kills him in battle. Back home, Anakin has recurring dreams that his wife Padme will die in childbirth. He is resentful because the Jedi Council won’t accept him fully, which makes him prey to the machinations of Palpatine, who is really the evil Sith plotting to take over the world. When he finally gets Anakin over to his point of view, he launches his attack on the Jedi, killing most of them except Obi-Wan and Yoda. Yoda fights Palpatine, then goes into hiding. Obi-Wan fights Anakin, now Darth Vadar, and defeats him. Vadar is horribly mutilated but lives. Padme dies giving birth to twins. Obi-Wan takes the boy to his relatives on Tatowine. Senator Organa adopts the girl, setting the stage for the events in the original Star Wars movie.

It wasn’t bad, but I knew how it would end, which took away a lot of the enjoyment. I’m also rather tired of the whole Star Wars deal. Perhaps I’ll watch all six again in about 20 years. Perhaps not.
