Review - A Wedding for Bella
Dominic owns a bakery with his two brothers. He has adopted and been adopted by the old couple upstairs, Bella and Massimo. Bella’s chief goal in life is to see her daughter, Lucca, get married. But Lucca is in South America with the Peace Corps.
Then Bella finds out she has terminal cancer. When Lucca surprisingly shows up for Christmas, Dominic determines to marry her to make Bella happy. He gets her to agree with the understanding that they can get divorced after Bella dies.
Of course, she does. And of course Dominic and Lucca have fallen in love and decide to get married anyway.
The characters weren’t real enough to involve me with their emotions over Bella’s death, and the romantic plot was predictable and goofy.
