A totally implausible plot, and I didn't care for the songs, but the characters were likeable and the actors were obviously enjoying themselves.

| Description: | Robert Gregory (Tony Martin) is a singer about to be deported. On his way to the ship, his taxi crashes into another cab carrying Patricia O'Malley to her wedding on the same ship. She's marrying a millionaire. The accident makes both miss their boat. Patricia takes Robert back to her boarding house, a Russian restaurant. The two soon fall in love. Imigration puts out an arrest warrent for Robert, and it's seen by the butler of the millionaire. He starts a scheme that is about to get Robert arrested, but the millionaire (a nice guy at heart) arrives in time to adopt Robert so he can stay in the country and marry Patricia. |
