Description:Pirates and swashbuckling and all that. Jamie Waring (Tyrone Power)is a captain under Henry Morgan. When Morgan is pardoned and made king of Jamaica, Jamie follows him. He falls in love with Margaret Denby (Maureen O'Hara), daughter of the previous governor. To prevent her from marrying a fop, he kidnaps her and sails in search of pirates. By the time the movie ends, he's captured the bad guys and married the girl.

Review - Black Swan, The

This movie was almost bad enough to be good. Jamie treats the woman he loves like a piece of meat, and after resenting it for most of the movie, she suddenly decides she likes it. The over-acting was comical, and the colorization made everything look like a cartoon. Sal watched it with me, and we had a good laugh.
