| Description: | Marty Claridge (Katherine Heigl) travels west with her new husband. On the morning after they arrive, he is killed in a fall from his horse. Without resources, she is forced to make a deal with Clark Davis, a rancher who wants a mother for his 10-year-old daughter, Missie. Life is stressful at first, and Marty plans to return east in the spring, but by the time spring rolls around, she and Clark are in love and she decides to stay. |
