Description:A drifter (Robert Mitchum) ends up in Macao where he falls for a nightclub singer (Jane Russell). Also in town is a New York cop working with the international police to try to capture a jewel thief who also happens to be the owner of the nightclub. When the cop is killed, the drifter acts to help the police and ends up with the girl.

Produced by Howard Hughes and not very memorable. Jane Russell looked better in this film than I've seen her anywhere else, but she wasn't a very good actress and she and all the other characters were plastic.
